We Cannot Do This Without Parent Volunteers!

These events happen because parents choose to make them happen.

For homeschool students, there isn't always a school putting together the big moments.

There may not be a student activities office planning the dance, a decorating committee transforming the venue, or a team of people making sure event night feels every bit as special as it should.

That's where we come in.

Timeless Homeschool Events began in 2009 when a group of homeschool parents came together with one simple idea: our kids shouldn't have to miss out just because they homeschool.

What started with a Prom in Huntsville grew into Timeless Homeschool Events, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving homeschool families through meaningful social events and milestone celebrations.

Today, Timeless Central Alabama carries that same mission into our community.

We create events where homeschool teens can dress up, celebrate, meet new people, reconnect with friends, and experience some of those big moments that are so often associated with the traditional high school years.

But none of it happens by itself.

Behind every beautiful venue, every decorated table, every plate of food, every carefully planned detail, and every student walking through the doors excited for what's ahead, there are parents who gave a little of their time to make it possible.

That's Our Volunteer Community

Timeless is a parent led, volunteer run 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Since 2009, parents have been at the heart of Timeless, planning, creating, organizing, and volunteering their time because we believe homeschool students deserve opportunities to celebrate the milestones and experiences that make these years special.

There isn't a company behind our events or an owner taking home the profits. What we bring in goes right back into creating experiences for our homeschool community.

And volunteering doesn't mean you have to plan an entire event.

Some parents help us decorate. Some make props or arrange flowers. Some organize supplies. Others help with setup, check in, hospitality, refreshments, chaperoning, or cleanup on event night.

Some parents give us a few hours. Others discover they love being involved and eventually take on a larger role.

Every one of them is part of what makes Timeless possible.

And Every Year, We Need New Parents to Join Us

Our volunteer community is always changing, and for the very best reason.

Our kids grow up.

They graduate, move on to college, careers, and whatever comes next. Eventually, many of the parents who spent years helping create these experiences graduate right along with them.

Then it's another family's turn.

New students walk through our doors. New parents join our community. New friendships are formed. Another group of families helps carry Timeless forward for the students coming behind them.

You don't have to be crafty.

You don't have to be an event planner.

You don't have to know anyone before you join us.

You don't have to commit to every event.

And you don't have to drive somewhere just to attend a meeting.

Our volunteer and planning meetings are held virtually through Zoom, making it easier for parents throughout Central Alabama to participate from home. You can be part of the conversation, share ideas, help us plan, and get to know the other parents involved without adding another drive to your schedule.

You just have to care about giving homeschool students experiences worth remembering.

Whether you can give us a few hours preparing decorations, help us set up a venue, chaperone for one evening, serve refreshments, or become more involved throughout the year, there is a place for you here.

For every parent who has already given their time, talents, ideas, and energy to Timeless over the years, thank you.

Volunteer Incentives

We know our volunteers are giving us something valuable: their time. As a thank you, we make sure our event volunteers receive a few special benefits.

​

Volunteer Tickets Are Reserved

If you are volunteering for an event, you do not have to worry about the event selling out before you purchase tickets for your family.

For each event, we set aside a specific number of tickets based on the number of volunteers we need. Those tickets are reserved for our confirmed volunteers, even if general admission tickets sell out.

50% Off Tickets for Paid Events

When you volunteer for one of our paid ticketed events, you will receive a volunteer coupon code for:

50% off up to two event tickets.

That means if you volunteer for Prom, for example, you may purchase up to two Prom tickets at half price each.

For events that are free, there is no ticket discount needed, but volunteer spaces and any required attendee tickets will still be reserved based on the needs of that event.

Volunteer benefits are tied to the event you are volunteering for and are available to confirmed volunteers for that event.
